HARVEST TIME CHURCH was established Harvest Time Evangelistic Center,
Inc. It was birthed out of Shelton Bady's desire to attend a church where he was free to worship God, teach the uncompromised Word of God, and evangelize, which is
the heartbeat of the ministry. Our first service was held September 1, 1990 at the Greenspoint Wyndham Hotel, where Shelton Bady was ordained as Pastor by the
Full Gospel Fellowship - Houston, Inc.

Our vision is taken from Luke 1:17. Pastor Bady, along with a six-member congregation, began instilling the vision, "Making ready a people prepared for the Lord." We also began door-to-door evangelism. Pastor Bady wanted to make
sure the Greenspoint area knew there was a church on the north side of town where
the Spirit of the Lord prevailed.

All were welcomed, loved, and often lives were totally transformed. Membership grew by leaps and bounds. So much so, that after 6 months of services at the
Marriott Hotel, we moved to 12121 Veterans Memorial into a 150-seat sanctuary.

Harvest Time soon thereafter expanded as Pastor Bady led the way by
giving to our first major building project. Once again, God has proven himself
faithful as we grew from a 150-seat sanctuary to a 500-seat capacity.

September 1, 1997, we broke ground for Phase I of our building project
at the present location, 17770 Imperial Valley Drive . We built a $3 million,
35,000 square foot multi-purpose complex, which housed the worship,
administrative and educational buildings. Our first service was Resurrection
Sunday 1999.

There are currently 50 operating ministries, which function to serve the needs of
our members, as well as the community. We've experienced steady growth, and now have over 5,000 members.

We have a total of 55 acres upon which we broke ground on our Community Center. This 55,575 square foot facility was completed in July 2003, designated to house our sports complex, Harvest Preparatory School , and many community oriented programs. Other Community Service entities also occupy Harvest Community Center, allowing collaborative efforts to further service the needs of Greenspoint and the surrounding communities.
