BIOGRAPHY

Distinguished leader, community advocate, Pastor, philanthropist, businessman, and father of one son, Brice Emmett Bady— Bishop Shelton Bady has proven himself to be the multidimensional man called to "Making ready people prepared for the Lord."

Native of Saginaw, Michigan, Shelton Bady is the seventh child of Eugene and Julia Bady's eleven children. His insistence on excellence coupled with his uncompromising approach to God's Word has allowed him to effectively impact the lives of men and women so they can become the leaders they were destined to be. He demonstrates these standards in his personal life as evidenced by:

-Graduating from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration

- Graduating from the University of Texas, Austin with a Master of Arts degree in Business Administration

- Starting at Dial Corporation in Houston receiving seven promotions within five years

- Resigning from Dial Corporation as regional business development manager

- Founding Harvest Time Church with only 6 members in 1990. Currently thousands gather weekly for worship

- Graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies

- Graduating from Paige Parkes, Houston, TX with a certificate in modeling and acting

- Operating as a college instructor at the College of Biblical Studies

- Founding the Preparation Fellowship to assist leaders in achieving their God given assignment

- Founding the Preparation Ministries to reach the nations through international crusades. Countries include: Singapore, Nairobi, Kenya, Lagos Nigeria, The Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, and Honduras.

- Founding the Harvest Christian Academy. Preschool to kindergarten learning center with anticipated expansion to 5th grade

- Election as Bishop of The Preparation Fellowship from the College of Bishops

- Receiving the Humanitarian award by the Greater Greenspoint Management District for civic contributions

- Building a multipurpose center with 34,000 square feet and a 55,575 square foot community center ( Harvest Community Center)

- Founding the Economic Development Center at Harvest Time Church

- Appointed to Governor Perry's OneStar National Service Commission

Bishop Shelton Bady has been designated as one of the most dynamic Pastors in the country. He is the founder and pastor of one of the fastest growing churches in Houston, TX - Harvest Time Church. Founded in 1990 with only 6 members, Harvest Time Church (HTC) is now home to 4,500 plus members.

Bishop Bady and HTC are reputed throughout Houston, other cities and countries for their standard of excellence and order. His anointed ministry imparts life, healing and restoration. Bishop Bady receives his pastoral covering from Bishop Noel Jones of Los Angeles, California.

Bishop Bady's profound effectiveness in ministry has inspired churches to come under his pastoral covering. He founded the Preparation Fellowship in 1999, to assist leaders in achieving their God given assignments. His spirit of evangelism and excellence serves as an international example to ministries and a catalyst to change.

HUMANITARIAN

Taking restoration to all arenas of life, Bishop Bady is an active participant in beautification programs throughout the Greenspoint Community. He has been integral in hosting programs and events that cater to the needs of community residents earning him the Humanitarian Award by the Greater Greenspoint Management District for his civic contributions.
